the meaning behind trupti
TRUPTI is a Sanskrit word that means contentment, fulfilment and a sense of deep satisfaction. For me, it represents that feeling when something feels just right, when beauty, craftsmanship and emotion come together in perfect harmony.
I chose the name TRUPTI because I believe jewellery should create that feeling. It should not simply be something beautiful to wear, but something that feels deeply personal, meaningful and uniquely yours. A piece that stays with you long after the occasion has passed, becoming part of your memories and, eventually, part of your story.

My journey with jewellery began with a fascination for the beauty of design, gemstones and the artistry behind a truly exceptional piece. Over time, I found myself drawn not just to jewellery itself, but to the process of imagining something from the very beginning, from an idea or a sketch to a finished piece that someone could treasure for years.
That passion led me to establish TRUPTI, my boutique jewellery design house in Surat, a city with a deep connection to the world of diamonds and jewellery.
I wanted to create something that felt different from a conventional jewellery store. A more personal experience where every design could have its own identity, where clients could be involved in the creative process, and where jewellery could be designed around the individual rather than simply chosen from what was already available.

My designs draw inspiration from the richness of Indian jewellery traditions, while embracing a contemporary and global aesthetic. I love the timelessness of Indian craftsmanship, the character of precious gemstones and the elegance of modern design, and I bring these influences together to create jewellery that feels both rooted and individual.
Whether it is a piece created for a wedding, a milestone, a celebration or simply for someone who wants to own something truly distinctive, I believe the design should reflect the person wearing it.

I work closely with clients to understand their style, their occasion and what they want their jewellery to express. From the initial conversation and design concept through to selecting stones, refining the details and bringing the final piece to life, every stage is approached with care.
For me, luxury is not only about precious materials. It is about thought, craftsmanship, individuality and the feeling of owning something that was created especially for you.
